Peak season continues — May conditions are firing on all cylinders.
- Rockfish & Lingcod: Excellent. Offshore structure producing strong catches. Charter boats reporting limit fills.
- Halibut: Good nearshore. Sandy areas from Morro Rock to Sand Dollar yielding fish.
- Salmon: Opening soon — stay tuned for updates as coastal seasons settle in.
- Surfperch: Solid from piers and surf zones. Best on incoming tides.
- Mackerel & Sardines: Great for light tackle. Schools running tight to shore.
