Lake Nacimiento

Status: 🟢 Great Water Temp: 80°F (27°C) - Warm! Level: Healthy summer levels

Bass fishing remains excellent despite the warm water. Fish are active but moving deeper during midday heat.

What's Biting:

• 🐟 Largemouth bass - Great on topwater at dawn/dusk
• 🐟 White bass - Active near shad schools
• 🐠 Crappie - Good near submerged structure

Best Bets:

• Main lake points in 15-25 ft
• Las Tables area and up the narrows
• Morning topwater action before sun heats surface

Tips: Water is warm—focus on early morning (6-9 AM) and evening (after 6 PM) when fish are most active. Use slower retrieves midday as fish go deeper.
